Punjab Pollution
The Budha Dariya is a tributary of the Sutlej River. As it passes through the city of Ludhiana, industrial pollution from the city contaminates the river. The Budha Dariya then merges back into the Sutlej River, resulting in the pollution of the entire Sutlej. Consequently, many diseases are spreading in the Malwa region of Punjab. Similarly, industries are causing pollution in various other areas, and people are protesting against this issue. This documentary film addresses the problems of pollution in Punjab and the protests against it.
